- New shorts, since I now have two that are only suitable for winter use. (They get transparent in the rear, after a while! Not a problem if you pull a pair of tights on over them)
- Two shiny black new tires
- New pressure setting -- 85 psi rather than 75
- New smart phone holder
- Fairly new glasses
- And a bright new spring day to enjoy all of this in!
Things looked up on 122. A brisk tail wind moved stripes of light and shadow ahead of me. Sedalia Schoolhouse Road, and some bucolic fragrances. Oordeel Hill -- taken in Granny Gear this time. Thanks to the geography, and Flint Stone Mountain, a brisk tail wind on 122 turns into a gentle breeze in the face on this side of Gunstock Creek Road. I admired the lacy greenery showing up on the triple canopy, and noted how some of the mountains haven't gotten the message yet. Yes, it snowed just a few days ago -- but Spring is really here!
