Business has been brisk this summer. Old friends and new have graced our lodgings. Dad hit a milestone, and turned 90. All eight of the children showed up, spouses in tow, to celebrate.
Yes, I did make it to the Firecracker 100. I took the 50 km option, which turned out to be 37 miles long. My hybrid bike made easy work of the gentle slopes, but plodded along at a sedate pace. Next time, I'd like to take the road bike.
