You may recall the doe that terrified our dogs, sending one fleeing for his life, the other cowering on the porch at Dad's feet. A few days later, she fell prey to a mountain lion, and her orphaned fawn wandered around. Well, our latests guests spotted four deer -- a doe and three fawns. One of the offspring was a month or two older than the others. Apparently, adopted.
We recently refurbished the Jenkins House, a charming white cottage with six large rooms, plus bathroom and utility room, front and back porches, and incredible scenic beauty. You can even bring a horse or two, and enjoy half-price pasture rental ($50 / month / horse). We figure that anyone with enough on the ball to keep horses is a good risk, and good people.
The links below will take you to the craigslist advertisement, and to a video tour of the house.
And, of course, I'm always eager to talk with interested parties. Call me at 540.586.1467!
